"Obediance is the great test of life"
-Thomas S. Monson

Reflection:  Obediance is something we should all follow, al;though it's not something obligatory or something we must follow. I'm agains't what Mr. Monson has to stay about obedience. I don't believe that obedience is the great test of life at all. I don't think I should have to obey anyone or anything. Obey my parents, obey the law--but besides those two I have nothing elese to test my obedience on is for followers, and I have been taught to be a LEADER and not a follower!

"Obediance... is the primary obect of all sound education."
-Elizabeth Missing Sewell

Reflection: What Ms. Swell meant is not something I would really particulary agree on. What swell means to say is that the key to educational success lies in obediance, but I digard that and don't believe in that. I don't beilieve I should have to obey anyone, espacially the school. I come to school to LEARN and recive my education and that is all. I don't come to school to be told what to or have to follow orders. On the contary to what Swell says, that obediance is what will lead us to educational success.

-Hosea Ballou

What Ballou meant in this statement was that our life has only one duty which is to follow order and obey. Alththough, again, I must disagree with thsi statement becuase from my understanding we are all born free and should not feel we have a submuissive auhority above us whom we must obey.
